What is the Acts of the Apostles about?
The Acts of the Apostles is about Jesus’ followers teaching, helping and being like Jesus.


Apostles gave up everything for Jesus there homes, Jobs and more. Jesus tells his apostles that he is going to be leaving. The first apostles felt abandoned and scared that Jesus was going to leave them after all the things that they did with Jesus, but then they encouraged because Jesus told them that they will be empowered by the Holy Spirit.


What two important events are recorded at the beginning of the Acts of the Apostles?
In the beginning of the Acts of the Apostles the two main events are, the promise of the Holy Spirit and The Pentecost.

In Hebrew tradition, doing something in someone’s name meant to identify closely with that person.


What did Jesus teach to the Apostles to help them understand?
When the apostles taught Jesus’ name they understood themselves to be teaching in his place or speaking on his behalf.


Where in the Bible are the stories about the apostles teaching in Jesus’ name?
In the Acts of the Apostles.

Why did the Apostles teach in the name of Jesus.To carry on Jesus mission to build more followers of God.
